Technologies To Help the DeafBlind
DeafBlind means those who suffer from both Visual and hearing impairment. At present, awareness and communication with the deafblind community is low, this project is designed to provide physical hardware and software technologies to enable them to communicate more easily.
Technology
We are a small team of experts and are pouring our skills from microelectronics to AI toward bringing new capabilities to the deafblind community. Whilst our invention is still under wraps: Our Konnect device is designed around simplicity and sophistication - analogous to the transition from mobile to smartphone for the deafblind, this is our goal.
Communication
This is the core of our focus - to allow DeafBlind and Non-DeafBlind to communicate with ease. We are looking at all spectrums of deafblind. The aim is to close the gap between those who understand and don't understand the alphabet, by starting on the same level - a communication protocol that can be learned in minutes - but ensures high bandwidth communication with the non-deafblind world.
Convenience
We want to move away from big clunky apparatus restricting people to their homes. Communication devices should enable, but allow users to be mobile and communicate with minimal effort.
